After-Sales Policy
 
At Borcart, we are committed to providing high-quality electric carts and exceptional support to our global customers. This policy outlines our procedures for shipping inspections and warranty coverage to ensure your investment is protected.

1. Inspection & Shipping Damage Claims
To ensure the integrity of your vehicle, please perform a thorough inspection upon delivery.
  • Inspection Period: The buyer is required to inspect the carts within 10 business days of receipt.
  • Reporting Damage: If any damage is discovered (likely caused during transit), the buyer must notify Borcart’s service team immediately.
  • Required Evidence: To process a claim, the buyer must provide:
1.Clear photos or videos of the damaged parts/carts name plate.
2.Photos of the Container Seal Number and the exterior packaging before unloading.
3.A copy of the Bill of Lading (B/L) with any noted exceptions (if applicable).
  • Late Claims: Damage reported after the 5-day inspection window may be deemed to have occurred during storage or use and may not be covered under the shipping damage claim.
 
2. Limited Warranty Coverage
Borcart provides a structured warranty based on the specific components of the vehicle. The warranty period begins from the date of delivery/invoice.
A. 5-Year Limited Warranty
  • Lithium Battery: Guaranteed against manufacturing defects and capacity drop-off beyond industry standards for a period of five (5) years.
B. 1-Year Limited Warranty
The following components are covered for a period of one (1) year:
  • Power System: Lead-acid Battery, Motor, Electronic Controller, DC Converter.
  • Chassis & Structure: Frame and Chassis components, Drive Axle assembly.
  • Steering & Control: Steering Gear assembly, Screen/Dashboard display.
  • Charging: Battery Charger.
 
3. Warranty Exclusions
The following conditions are NOT covered by the warranty:
  • Wear and Tear: Normal wear items including, but not limited to, tires, brake pads, seats, floor mats, and light bulbs.
  • Improper Use: Damage resulting from accidents, collision, overloading, or use in environments for which the vehicle was not designed.
  • Negligence: Damage caused by lack of scheduled maintenance (e.g., Long-term disuse or non-driving of the vehicle can cause damage to the battery).
  • Unauthorized Modifications: Any alterations made to the electrical system, motor, or chassis without written consent from Borcart.
  • Force Majeure: Damage caused by natural disasters (floods, fire, lightning, etc.).
 
4. How to Obtain Warranty Service
If a covered component fails during the warranty period:
1.Submit a Claim: Contact your Borcart sales representative or our technical support team with the cart’s Serial Number.
2.Diagnostic Support: Our engineers will provide remote diagnostics via photos or video calls.
3.Part Replacement: If a part is confirmed to be defective, Borcart will provide the replacement part. Note: Local labor costs for installation and shipping costs for parts may be subject to the specific terms of your purchase agreement.
